Volunteer Day!

The Pioneer Veterans Hall is getting Ready for Wildfire! You’re invited to help us make this important community space safer and more inviting for years to come. The Hall has been chosen to showcase Defensible Space and Firewise Landscaping for Amador County and beyond. It will become a publicly accessible, living educational resource to those living in the Wildland Urban Interface to replicate at home. To make this possible, we need YOUR HELP to remove shrubs and prune trees around the hall according to Defensible Space guidelines, and prepare the area for native plants compatible with Firewise Landscaping. Register at the link below and come ready to get your hands dirty!
