Three Meadow Restoration Request for Bids

PROJECT TITLE: Three Meadows Restoration Project - Implementation
RELEASE DATE: October 9th 2020 (Re-release of June 2020 RFB)

PRE-BID TOUR:  Contractors are required to attend the pre-bid site visit. The pre-bid site visit will take place October 26th 2020. (Unless they attended the prior project tour in June 2020). CLOSING DATE:  Bids must be received no later than 5pm December 18th 2020.

Project Contractor is anticipated to be selected in late December 2020.

Project & Bid Summary
The Amador Resource Conservation District is soliciting bids for meadow restoration and road work on three meadows and adjacent roads near Bear River Reservoir in Amador County. The work consists of providing equipment, fuel, operators, repairs, mobilization, demobilization and incidentals to construct in-stream structures of logs and rock, and to install rolling dips and lead-off ditches on a segments of native surface roads. Project is located on the Eldorado National Forest in the Amador Ranger District. Work is expected to start approximately July 2021 and extend through the dry season. Work must be completed by September 15, 2021.

This contract is administered under Federal and State Equal Opportunity regulations. Bidders Note: This contract will be subject to State and Federal Prevailing Wage Rates for hours and prevailing wage rates. Disabled Veteran-,Women- and Minority-owned businesses are encouraged to bid. No contractor or subcontractor may be submitted or be awarded a contract for public work on a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5.
