AMADOR RESOURCE CONSERVATION DISTRICT
MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING
MARCH 18, 2004

Meeting called to order: 7:12 pm
Present at roll call: Directors Cannon, Jerauld, Port. Absent- Peters. Also Bob Long , Lola Blevins. Approval of Agenda: Port moved to approve, Jerauld second. All ayes.
Oral Communications: None Emergency Items: None Consent Agenda: Warrants: none.
Approval of minutes: Jerauld moved to approve minutes of January 15, 2004 as corrected. Port second. All ayes. Minutes of February 26 were corrected but not approved.
Miscellaneous Matters:
1. Main Street Theatre Works was not present. Their proposal to build an amphitheatre was discussed.
2. Director vacancy. The Board discussed the director vacancy with Lola Blevins who has expressed interest in the position. Director Jerauld will meet with her to provide more information on the RCD.
3. Dick Mangum Memorial Resource Conservation Scholarship. Cannon presented an updated description which was reviewed by the Board. Jerauld moved that the scholarship amount be increased to $1000. No second
4. NRCS Report. Bob Long reported on the EQIP program and his consultation on the proposal to set up a mitigation bank on the Calaveras County ranch where red legged frogs have been identified.
5. Discussion of the farm tour was continued to the next meeting.
6. Jerauld moved to adjourn, Port second. All ayes. Meeting adjourned at 8:37.
